Try these basketball training drills with your team. This drill is called TOUCHDOWN and it teaches moving without the ball, setting screens away from the ball, passing and playing defense among others.
This is one of the basketball passing drills I like because it works to greatly increase concentration, hand-eye coordination and really works to make the passes “catchable”.
If you are looking for girls basketball drills, give these two a try. Just so you know–they work for all players, boys and girls!
This may not be a totally unique idea, but these are great basketball passing drills for working with younger kids and teaching them to pass AND to move without the basketball.
