This is one of the [tag]basketball offense plays[/tag]that Jennifer sent to me. Try this out with your team tonight!
Here’s a favorite [tag]basketball[/tag] [tag]drill[/tag] I use:
Good for calling out the shot, [tag]blocking out[/tag], [tag]rebounding[/tag], calling for the outlet
pass and pushing the ball up the court (transition [tag]offense[/tag] which is my favorite
way to score), and fast break layups.
3 lines on the baseline that line up with each of the 3 lanes.
1 outlet line on the side line rotating from the right to left side.
3 on offense and 3 on defense…rotate defense to offense to out.
Coach shoots the ball, defense calls out the shot and blocks out, rebounds and
turn for the outlet pass (called by the guard in the outline line).
The [tag]guard[/tag] pushes the ball middle and everyone else fills a lane with the first
two breaking at an angle once they hit the free throw line and the last one as
a trailer on either side.
