Behind the Back Catch Basketball Ballhandling Drill

How it Works

  1. Start ith the ball held behind your head with both hands.
  2. Drop the ball and quickly move your hands behind your back to catch it.
  3. Repeat.

Coaching Tips

  • Make sure to stay low, and keep your feet spread wide.  Use your fingertips to grip the ball instead of your palms.
  • Make it easier: Bend forward at the waist and allow the ball to roll straight down your back.
  • Make it harder: Do the drill with one hand only.
