From Doug…
A [tag]basketball[/tag] [tag]drill[/tag] we do the kids seem to really enjoy is called 3 on 3 continuous.

The players are divided into 2 teams, one on each end.
It starts with 3 on 3 on one end and the others are divided into 2 lines at the free throw line extended on their prospective ends.  If [tag]offense[/tag] scores they quickly [tag]sprint[/tag] to the other end (their teams end) to play [tag]defense[/tag].  The team that was on defense who ever gets the [tag]rebound[/tag] make or miss passes to one of the guys in line and stays in the drill going in transition with the rebounder and first guys in line.

We play first team to 10 baskets, fouls on defense you can either give them a point or check the ball out front, offensive foul or turnover the offense drops the ball and gets back on defense, they can defend the outlet pass or anywhere on the floor.

It’s a good [tag]transition drill[/tag], [tag]conditioning drill[/tag] and develops competitiveness as the losing team usually does push-ups or a bleacher or something short and quick.
