Basketball Conditioning DrillDon, one of my subscribers sent me this [tag]basketball conditioning drill[/tag] that he with his team. I’ve included it here for you to try!“  Keep ’em coming!

A [tag]basketball drill[/tag] I like to use to teach the kids to pass ahead and get the transition game going I call Memphis.  It is a full court drill with all five players.

We start with our 5 getting a rebound and outleting to the 1 at the free throw line extended(right side).  The 2 and 3 release down the sidelines(2 on the right, 3 on the left).  The 1 passes ahead to the 3 crosscourt who goes in for the lay-up. The 4 and 5 are hustling downcourt for the rebound, the 1 goes crosscourt to the outlet area, and the 2 and 3 cross under the basket.  Coming back the outlet goes to the 1 who passes ahead to the 2 hustling down the right sideline. The 2 dribbles in for the lay-up and the action continues with the outlet to the1 who passes ahead to the 2 who stays wide, fakes a jump shot and passes to the 4, who has hustled down to the right block, for the lay-in.  We continue with the same action but now the passes go 1 to 2 to 4 back to 2 for the jumper.  The last sequence is 1 to 2 to 4 and the 4 feeds the 5 with a drop pass in the middle of the lane.

I like this [tag]basketball[/tag] drill because it is a good conditioner and gets everyone involved. Hope you find it helpful.
