I use an agility ladder for many of our [tag]basketball dribbling drills[/tag]. This is a good drill for people who are right handed but cannot dribble well with their left hand (or vice-versa).
Take an agility ladder which has 10-12 bars which are spaced 10-12 inches apart and have your player dribble with the weak hand through each space in the agility ladder using 20 seconds as a guideline for starters. Then work your way up to being able to do it in 12-15 seconds and then work your way up to dribbling through the ladder without looking at the [tag]basketball[/tag].
Then start dribbling two times in each space in the agility ladder with 12-15 seconds as your time limit.
As the player gets better, the coach can lower the time limit as needed.
