I was at [tag]practice[/tag] last night and had my team use these [tag]basketball dribbling moves[/tag] sent in by Paul.  Try them with your team and watch the improvements.Basketball Dribbling Moves

From Paul…
On the base line I have two lines of players.
I set up 8-10 cones in a sharp zig-zag pattern from one end of the court to the other.
Line A and line B have one ball each.
When I blow the whistle the first player in each line [tag]dribbles[/tag] to the first cone with their left hand, then cuts the cone on their right, does a front cross over to their right hand, cuts the next cone on their left, then left to right cross over between their legs, then reverse the pattern all they way down the court and back.
They then pass to the next player on their team at the base line and he runs down the court through the cones.

The first team to finish the [tag]basketball[/tag] [tag]drill[/tag] wins, the losing team runs full court line drills.

The exercises help the players to concentrate on [tag]dribbling[/tag] with their eyes looking up and forward, develops sharp cuts while dribbling, cross over techniques and speed.
