Take a look at this submission from Bob. This is a great drill for [tag]basketball shooting fundamentals[/tag] that can work with all age groups.
From Bob…
Here’s a [tag]basketball[/tag] [tag]drill[/tag] we typically do to end [tag]practice[/tag]–kind of like around the worlds.
-Divide the team in half. Each group lines up where the 3 point arc and baseline intersect.
-1st player in each line takes the first shot and they take it until they make it. 2nd player takes second shot etc.
-Shots are:
Jumper from short corner.
[tag]Lay up[/tag].
Shot from elbow.
[tag]Foul shot[/tag].
Shot from opposite elbow.
Lay up from opposite bloc.
Jumper from opposite short corner.
-Teams then work their way back to the corner they started from…still take it until you make it.
-Last shot is a three.
-Losers run.
