Jesse in Kansas came up with some great suggestions covering [tag]basketball[/tag] practice ideas that work great for [tag]basketball skills camps[/tag].  Keep ‘em coming!Basketball Skills Camps

From Jesse…
One of the things that we have started to work on one practice a week is stations.  We have 6 different things to work on at each station and we mix up some of the stations each week to help give the kids the proper foot work, balance and any other advice we see they need improvements on.

One of my favorite [tag]basketball drills[/tag] is two guys at my station, #1 starts at the low left block and fakes to the middle and then seals the defender on his hip for a hook shot.  #1 gets the rebound and kicks back to the coach while #2 does the same thing and when this is happening they each get to see what it looks like to execute the move.  #2 rebounds while #1 sets up in the same spot as he did the first time only now fake baseline and go to the middle.  Then we move to the other side and repeat.  Now back to the left low block and this time its a lob pass so #1 still seals the defender and this time its catch and shoot.  Goes both ways, baseline and middle of the lane.  Repeat opposite side.  Next we move on to #1 starting at the low block popping out to the elbow jump stopping and reverse pivot and cut to the basket for a lay up.  Repeat other side.

We repeat this [tag]basketball drill[/tag] until the 10 minutes are up.
