I sent out a request for my newsletter subscribers to send in their best [tag]basketball team shooting drills[/tag]. Check out this one below (very creative!).
One of my favorite [tag]basketball drills[/tag] is a shooting [tag]basketball drill[/tag] intended to shoot at game speed and get the shooter used to shooting with tired legs.
Start with shooter on one elbow and have him run while getting feet set to receive pass across the free throw line. i.e. elbow to elbow or middle of free throw line.
Shooter is to catch, shoot and run to next spot.
Rebounders are to rebound and give the pass with as little delay as possible for shooter (using two balls).
Shoot for 30 seconds and rotate.
After all three players have shot, switch shooting areas to baseline or 3 point shots. Work on second set to get shooters to 60 seconds.
