Looking for a [tag]drill[/tag] for [tag]offense in basketball[/tag]?“  You’ve come to the right place!“  Try out these ideas below, from Kat and from Pat, and let me know how it goes for you.Offense in Basketball

From Kat…
My [tag]basketball[/tag] drill:
Five man/woman [tag]weave[/tag] up on length of court, but on way back instead of doing 3 [tag]offensive players[/tag] vs 2 defensive players, I do 2 offensive players against three defensive players.

Why? Because I have players that are 8 and 9 that completely dominate.  So if the players that don’t completely dominate see the “dominating players” spill the ball too, then it makes them start believing that they are just as good as them too! Also improves the offensive skills of the dominating players, makes them pass it more.

From Pat…

We end [tag]practice[/tag] with a [tag]shooting[/tag] drill that pits two teams against each other. We split the teams (JV and V) into two groups one group at each end basket. We begin shooting shots around the perimeter trying to make ten from the same spot before moving on.

The first team to make ten from all 7 spots wins and the losers run hurricanes.
